Prop 8 Redux: What now for marriage rights?
Pamela Brown is the National Policy Director for Marriage Equality USA (MEUSA). In this capacity, she has provided MEUSA’s county chapter leaders, outreach directors and board members with timely analyses on census and polling data, summaries of legal briefs and court decisions, talking points on major issues and support for marriage equality public education activities. One such public education activity included an on-line daily series in the Bay Area Reporter called Friends of the Court that highlighted all 30 amicus briefs filed in favor of the freedom to marry that ran prior to the California Supreme Court hearing the consolidated marriage case.
