Cassidy Curtis is an animator living in San Francisco. He spends his days at DreamWorks, wiggling the butts of various talking animals for movies like Shrek 2 and Madagascar, and nights at AnimationMentor teaching animation online. The rest of the time he’s neck-deep in personal projects, like Graffiti Archaeology (timelapse photography of graffiti-covered walls) and the Telestereoscope (an optical device to enhance your depth perception). In an earlier life, he did computer graphics research, writing code to make things look hand-painted. He has colored-letter synesthesia, draws pictures of math and sneezes when exposed to bright sunlight.
