Guest Travis Meinolf
Why focus on process over outcome?
Born in the Bay Area and living and weaving in San Francisco since 2000, Travis Meinolf is currently a graduate student at California College of the Arts. He is interested in engaging, non-coercively, in public discourse regarding commodities, labor/leisure, technology and the way society is formed by object creation/consumption.
To do so, Travis creates situations which provide examples of alternative modes of production and exchange to allow participants to consider the feasibility of such practices. Travis likes to show people of all backgrounds that they can make things for themselves, and decide what we think the best way is to give them out. And that it can be fun, and create community!
