Guest Libby Bulloff
How can you be authentic to yourself and part of a (sub)culture?
Libby Bulloff is a creative conceptualist from Bloomington, Indiana, and one of the contributors to Steampunk magazine. In the fall of 2007, she held a successful steampunk-themed gallery show containing fashion photography, upcycled tech jewelry, and graffiti art.
Her work synthesizes art and craft, retrospect and innovation. It is about creating impossibly wondrous worlds out of the discarded and forgotten in order to resurrect a glorious future.
Libby’s projects have been featured on Boing Boing, WarrenEllis.com, Diesel Sweeties, CRAFTzine, MAKE, Street Tech, and Etsy’s The Storque, as well as in Weird Tales and BusinessWeek.
