Denise Caruso is the founder of the scientific thinktank Hybrid Vigor Institute and the author of, among other works, the award-winning Intervention.
Denise is a pioneering Digital Media journalist and analyst (Digital Media newsletter / New York Times/ EFF director emerita) who turned her attention to genetic modification around the turn of the millennium after discovering scientists had no idea about the real risks of their work.
Since then, Caruso has independently brought her brilliance to bear on the problem: bringing business, academic and scientific approaches together, developing new approaches to risk and bringing world-class scientists together across discipline to work on our truest collective challenges.
