How do you create conversation for many people? How do people genuinely connect with each other and with you or your company?

Innovative comedian Heather Gold explains basic differences between presentation and conversation and the assumptions underneath each. More entertainingly (and usefully) she demonstrates these ideas by creating a great, relevant conversation in the room so that all can feel the difference.

Cookie

In Heather Gold’s innovative, smash-hit debut, “she sifts through the complexities of sexuality and identity with baking’s simple truths.” (Robert Avila, SFBG). Heather tells her coming-of-age story as she makes chocolate chip cookies with the audience through her own hilarious and moving exploration of the recipe.

Cookie played to sold-out rooms and critical raves, running over a year in San Francisco to audience and critical raves and at invitation at top-comedy development theatre Ars Nova (Sarah Silverman, Julia Sweeney, Judy Gold) in New York. The Oakland Tribune named Cookie Best of the Bay and Curve Magazine honoured Cookie with their National Lesbian Theatre Award. The show tours theatres and colleges across the country.
